A virtual vet appointment with TelaVets follows the same clinical process as an in-person consultation — the only difference is the medium. Your veterinarian joins a secure, encrypted video call, introduces themselves, and begins a structured visual examination of your pet.
Contrary to what many people assume, experienced vets can assess a remarkable amount through video: coat condition, eye clarity, posture, respiratory rate, movement patterns, skin lesion characteristics, ear discharge color and texture, and behavioral responses to stimuli. Combined with a thorough history and targeted clinical questions, this information builds a detailed diagnostic picture.
